Hi Barry,
I'm thinking that 'canals' as a communications tag could be expanded to read 'canals, rivers and lakes'. I know the expansion says navigable rivers, but why not just make the title a little longer as 'canals' seems to be too specific. Otherwise I'm getting the hang of the tags and they seem to work well. my only concern is that people will get lazy and future 'category-style' searching will not be as effective as now.
