Retain photographer's position from one submission to the next
Because there are often times when one takes two or more pictures from the same spot, looking in different directions, it would be useful to retain the photographer's position. In the new submission process, the default is to retain the subject position, which is less useful

Simple/Advanced Version of the site
have two levels of pages - simple only showing the stable well tested features, whereas advanced will include the more experimental features.

Comments per image
Like a blog post, allow comments on the image page, so visitors can leave image specific comments.

Detect pairs and groups of images
eg try to identify groups of images of the same image, and present them as a series (this has been called swarm on the forum)

Editable gazetteer line
Allow the automatically generated to be tweaked either on a per image, or per square basis - also correct typos etc.

Tags for Collections/Forum Threads.
Allow (community orientated) tags to be added to collections and forum threads, for greater findability.

Bi-lingual description/title
Add optional second set of text box for alternative language version of description/title. eg Welsh, Irish or Scots Gaelic.

Centisquare Navigation
Much like we have 'browse' for moving around at 1km resolution, create a new facility to move around at centisquare (100m square) level.

Have an optional 20*20 mosaic geograph map viewer to display the thumbnails for a wider area.

Restyle the site so it looks like the Schools site
The site looks dated and would benifit from an update so it looks like or simular to the schools site which to me is much more attractive.
